JIM VALOSIK ART/DIRECTION
Senior level AD/CD, designer and director based in Nashville, TN.
I love creation in any form, and love to stay neck deep in it. My strengths lie in concepting, crafting, vision and direction. I like to help solve problems and have fun in the process. From campaign strategy and brand voice, to artful execution of production across all mediums, I have years of experience at jumping in and generally getting it.
I've been heavily involved in both the strategy and concepting side of the job as well as the on-set commercial production side, from final client pitch to final stages of production. Additionally, I've taught portfolio development in one of the south's renown art schools, worked both at an arts non-profit, and with a startup getting off of the ground. I like to stay busy. My free time is full of creative outlets: music, art, writing, photography, movies, and running a small record label. Also a big fan of the outdoors, camping, knifemaking, motorcycles and dogs.
Throughout my agency, contract and freelance work, I have been involved with a diverse roster of clients such as:
Shoney's, BB&T, Duralast, K•Swiss, Wake Forest, Fazoli’s, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Universal/Island Records US & UK, OZ Arts Nashville, University of Tennessee, Hime Amplification, Premiere Health, Backyard Burgers, The National Guard, Cracker Barrel, Scale Model Guitar, HCA, PBS, Tri-Star, Royal Bank of Canada, TN Lottery, Oschner, St. David’s, Pigeon Forge TN, United Methodist Church, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Stoney River Legendary Steaks, United Way, Ebonite Bowling, Hammer Bowling, Griffin Technology, Muddy Roots Records.
